NJTC members make the list of the 100 most powerful people in New Jersey business

New Jersey (March 15, 2011) Honors abound for members of the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC). President and CEO of the New Jersey Technology Council, Maxine Ballen, is among the 19 NJTC members that made NJBIZ’s 100 most powerful people in New Jersey business. NJBIZ editors talked to dozens of in-the-know sources over a period of months to determine the most powerful people in New Jersey business.

 

NJTC members included in the list are: Dennis Bone of Verizon, Caren Franzini and Al Koeppe of the EDA, Mitch Hersh of Mack-Cali, Robert J. Hugin of Celgene, D. Nicholas Miceli of TD Bank, Susan Cole of Montclair State University, Deb DiLorenzo of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, Ralph LaRossa of PSE&G, Patrick E. Hobbs of Seton Hall, Tim Pernetti and Jay A. Tischfield of Rutgers University, Phil Kirschner of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, Shihab Kuran of Petra Solar, Inc., John Martinson of Edison Ventures, Richard P. Miller of Virtua, Debbie Hart of BioNJ,  Joseph A. McNamara, vice chairman of the EDA and Greg Olsen of GHO Ventures.

 

Members making it in the top 10 of the list include Dennis Bone the CEO of Verizon New Jersey and Caren Franzini CEO of the state’s Economic Development Authority.  Bone helped create Choose New Jersey and as Chairman of the state Chamber of Commerce, tackles issues like how to upgrade the state’s worker training programs. Meanwhile, Franzini has served seven governors from both parties. She’s respected by Democrats and Republicans for her intellect.

The New Jersey Technology Council provides business support, networking opportunities, information, advocacy and recognition of technology companies and their leaders.
