Level 3 to Moderate Panel at 2013 CMO Leadership Forum

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Jan. 9, 2013 — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE: LVLT) today announced that Maggie Chan Jones, Level 3 senior vice president of North America Marketing, will be moderating a panel at the 2013 Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Leadership Forum in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jan. 10. The panel, entitled “Leadership Speaks: Creating Exceptional Customer Experience,” will begin at approximately 10:20 a.m. PT.

Ms. Jones will help facilitate the panel discussion, which is focused on exploring ways to create exceptional customer experiences through understanding consumer behavior changes, how to use digital technologies to gain customer insight, how to deliver a unified customer experience across all business channels, and the value of localized marketing.
