AMERICAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP TODAY ROLLS OUT STATE MAPS FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Westfield New Jersey, December 4, 2013 — AEP LLC, the publisher of American Entrepreneurship Today, http://www.AmercianEntrepreneurship.com, announced that entrepreneurs now have a map that details their state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This mapping project represents the latest enhancement to American Entrepreneurship Today’s family of state web sites dedicated to entrepreneurship.

Visitors to the national site can also visit one of six states with web sites fully launched: New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Texas, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The first map launched was for New Jersey and may be found at: http://newjersey.americanentrepreneurship.com/map.html . Each of the other five state sites also have maps that may be located via a link in each respective site’s top navigation. American Entrepreneurship Today’s launch of other state web sites will be ongoing. Each newly launched state site will now also have a map of its entrepreneurial eco-system.

According to Jeanne Gray, founder and President of AEP LLC, the map allows local small business and entrepreneurial supportive organizations to be more readily identified. This will result in a more timely connection with small business owners and entrepreneurs that they seek to assist.

“It is critical that entrepreneurs and small business owners locate resources that are near at hand to their business. By presenting a map of where those resources reside in their state, they will be able to more readily find support. When tied to each state’s web site events calendar, entrepreneurs have in front of them two critical pieces of information to become engaged in their community—informative and educational events and the location of those organizations who offer a range of services,” said Gray.

The American Entrepreneurship Today map includes organizations such as: university centers for entrepreneurship, accelerators, incubators, meet-ups, small business development centers, government agencies, venture capital firms, angel investor groups, associations and more. Equally important, are the listing and identification of the startup community such as ventures in key technology industries, those that have been funded or received notable awards, as well as entrepreneurial growth stage companies that are job creators which is critical to their state’s economy.

“Peer to peer connection is important to the growth of a state’s entrepreneurial eco-system” explains Gray. “We encourage both startup and established entrepreneurs to become involved in their local community to meet fellow entrepreneurs, valuable service experts and mentors. The map is a tool for entrepreneurs to both see what is helpful around them and be seen by those interested in their success such as investors”.
