Archer & Greiner P.C., Debra Rosen Receives Women of Achievement Award

Debra S. Rosen, a Partner with the law firm Archer & Greiner P.C., has been honored by the Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America (BSA), as a recipient of the Women of Achievement award, bestowed upon outstanding women in business from the six counties in southern New Jersey which the Garden State Council serves.

Based in Archer & Greiner’s headquarters in Haddonfield, Ms. Rosen received the Woman of Achievement award for Camden County during a reception on Dec. 5 at Auletto Caterers in Deptford. Other recipients were Louise T. Bertacchi (Cumberland County), Maura McMahon Primus (Cape May County), Joyce L. Skradzinski (Salem County), Nina S. Sorelle (Gloucester County) and Amy R. Webb (Burlington County).

As Vice President, Legal, for the Garden State Council, Ms. Rosen advises the organization’s leadership on all legal matters that arise. She also serves as a member of the Council’s Executive Committee and Executive Board.

This is the second year this award has been given and the first since the merger of councils and the creation of the Garden State Council, which administers the Boy Scouts of America program in South Jersey. The council is chartered by the National Council, BSA, and provides program and administrative support for the Scouts and units within the council territory. The Garden State Council is one of the largest youth-serving organizations in South Jersey.

Ms. Rosen concentrates her practice in complex environmental and toxic tort litigation as well as environmental due diligence and compliance, with an emphasis on defense of groundwater contamination cases involving claims for both property damage and serious personal injury. Ms. Rosen’s work has been in both state and federal courts, and she has handled matters in jurisdictions throughout the United States, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, New York, Connecticut, Maryland and Michigan and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Ms. Rosen is Chair of Archer & Greiner’s Personnel Committee and a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee.  She is also a founding member and Co-Chairperson for the Archer & Greiner Women Lawyer’s Network.
